The National Association
of Intercollegiate Gymnastics Clubs (NAIGC) Nationals was hosted in Slat Lake City, Utah 19-21 April. Over 600 competitors
from more than 60 universities and colleges from around the US competed. The TGC was well represented
with teams and individuals from Texas, Texas A&M, Texas State, Texas Tech, University of Texas Dallas, Hardin Simmons,
and St. Mary’s. Six preliminary sessions
for women and three for men were held Thursday and Friday culminating in a finals session on Saturday.

Aggie Men 1st at NAIGC Nationals Texas

The
Texas A&M Men repeated as national champions edging out Penn State. In the men’s All Around, three-time defending
national champion Eli Richardson was edged out by his teammate, Michael Bynum, from Texas A&M, but still won Floor. Meanwhile,
newcomer Tommy Trumpeter from the University of Texas at Dallas won both Pommel Horse and Rings. Bryce Cashell, Texas State, claimed the national Vault title. Men’s Team Finals JO Level 9, 3 scores per event 1. Texas
